Objections April 06
0764 - 13/15 Brunswick Street West
The society feels that all the windows on the West Elevation should be of the same design
569/570 - Hangleton Manor
We are concerned that the planned repair to the cornice in the Tudor Bar will be sufficient. The area is in a very poor condition and needs proper repair with Historical materials used for all the internal repairs
Downlighting is suggested for the East Elevation to illuminate the garden. Although some have voiced concerns it is perhaps preferable to the existing floodlights.
585 Aymer Road. Demolition of Chalet
The plan to demolish and build a 3 storey block of flats has been raised before but the revised plan does not enhance the conservation area
638/640 - 4 St John's Road
Plan to demolish and build 3 live/work terraced houses.
More thought and negotiation is needed before finally passing this development
5549 -KING ALFRED COMPLEX
The size and scale of the revised plans require several visits but the first impression is that there have been some improvements. The continuing concerns are regarding surrounding blocks.
Indoor Bowls
The site proposed for the indoor bowls centre, displaced from the K.A. sports centre is to be in the Hove Parks and Gardens Depot, east of the Engineerium
Examined without comment.
