The Society is in consultation with the City Council with regard to proposed changes to the display of archaeological artefacts in the City.

Photo of the amber cup; brownish orange with a single loop handle and showing many marks and chips

The Amber Cup, currently at Hove Museum, is probably the most valuable item, and was recovered intact when the Hove barrow at Palmeira Square was excavated and then levelled. Other items from Mile Oak prior to the construction of the bypass include a sarsen stone and a female skeleton. They were on display at Foredown Tower but are now in store.
